Dutch media claim Newcastle officials have been spotted watching 12-goal midfielder

As reported by popular Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, Newcastle United are one of three Premier League clubs taking a close look at Feyenoord captain Orkun Kökcü. 

The report states that Newcastle, along with Crystal Palace and Aston Villa, have sent scouts to watch the 22-year-old who is impressing in the Eredivisie with 12 goals and three assists in 36 appearances from midfield.

There are rumours that other European clubs such as Benfica are also keeping an eye on the Turkish international, who has helped the Rotterdam giants reach the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
