Newcastle set for £35m boost ahead of summer window and date emerges for four-part series

Not only are Newcastle United set to announce front-of-shirt sponsors worth £25m-per-season, it seems another £10m is coming our way ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to The Mail, the club are set to bank in excess of £10m for the fly-on-the-wall documentary series with Amazon Prime.

The four-part series is expected to air in August – just before the 2023/24 season – and will focus on our owners, first cup final since 1999, impressive season under Eddie Howe and behind-the-scenes deals; such as our £45m move for Everton’s Anthony Gordon.

It’s another lucrative piece of business and is expected to earn us the same sort of figure that Man City received for their ‘All or Nothing’ series with Amazon back in 2018.

As revealed by The Mail, two things that are unlikely to feature in the docuseries are the Premier League’s investigation into our ownership structure and ongoing HMRC investigation.

With our TV money payout likely to be big – we’ve been selected so often this season – a £25m sponsorship deal agreed, the Amazon series earning us an eight-figure fee and a top-four finish set to be highly lucrative, things are looking healthy for our summer transfer budget!
