Leaked image reveals Newcastle’s 2023/24 home kit – New sponsor & design now confirmed?

A photo has emerged online of what looks to be Newcastle United’s new kit ahead of the 2023/24 season.

The leak (see below) looks like the official image the club will share on the release date (tipped to be on Friday 9th June) and features Sela as our new front-of-shirt sponsor.

Sela is a Saudi events company part-owned by PIF, who have been tipped to pay £25m-per-year to replace FUN88.

As expected, Castore are the kit manufacturers, who have gone with thin black and white stripes and a black and white finish to the collar and sleeves.

See the leaked image below, showing players from our men’s and women’s team donning what appears to be our new shirt for the coming season:

Time will tell if this is fake or the official artwork set to be released in a few days time, but it looks legit to us.

As for the away and third kits, it’s believed one will feature a design similar to the Saudi national kit – a theme we took on over the 2022/23 season and one that provoked plenty of criticism in the media.

  1. You seem to be yet another fan who for whatever reason believes that the kit providers designs the kit with no input from the club.

I would imagine that Castore come up with a number of designs, forward them to the club who either approve, or approve with changes.

That would mean that it’s actually the club who have gone with thin stripes, not Castore.

Of course that’s completely ignoring the fact that the pictures look fake as fu@&

  2. It’s not a photo Olly, it’s an AI created image so not real. That’s not to say the shirt design is fake, it could be that, but this image is not a real photograph.
