Eddie Howe has revealed his delight at bringing Sandro Tonali to St James’ Park, explaining exactly why he brought the Italian to Tyneside.
The boss describes the midfielder as an “exceptional talent”, believing he has the “mentality, physicality and technical attributes” to be a “great fit” for his Newcastle side.
Howe has also hailed is experience at the age of 23, saying he’s already proved himself in one of Europe’s ‘top leagues’ with AC Milan, as well as playing in the Champions League and for his country; where he’s been capped by Italy 14 times and captained the U21s.
