Newcastle United have released a brilliant 12-minute video of Sandro Tonali’s first two days on Tyneside.
The footage covers his arrival at Newcastle airport on Wednesday afternoon, his househunting alongside his partner and agent – which also sees him have a kick-about with a young Newcastle fan in the current owners back garden!
His first day ends with a visit to our training ground, where he’s given a tour of our new improved Benton base and brought in for photos. Day two sees him start with his first visit to St James’ Park, media duties – you can watch his NUFC TV interview here – and pictures in front of the brilliant Wor Flags display made especially for his arrival.
Before flying back to Italy on Thursday evening, he then heads back to the training ground to meet Eddie Howe and speak with Dan Ashworth; a moment that also features some brilliant support and advice from Kieran Trippier. Watch the 12-minute video in full below:
