Sky Sports’ Keith Downie have revealed Eddie Howe’s pre-season plans after certain players were spotted returning to the club’s training ground from 7am on Sunday morning.
Half of the squad will return today and the other half on Monday, with staff set to run a series of tests to check on the players; who’ve been given programs to follow over the summer to keep on top of their fitness levels.
The likes of Nick Pope, Kieran Trippier, Emil Krafth, Dan Burn, Sean Longstaff, Elliot Anderson, Jacob Murphy, Matt Target, Jamaal Lascelles and Allan Saint-Maximin were all pictured arriving at our Benton base this morning (see photos below), with the Frenchman posting a ‘back home’ message on his Instagram last night after arriving back on Tyneside.
