Newcastle have released footage of our star players returning to pre-season training as we get a first look at new signing Sandro Tonali with his new teammates.
While some players have already returned, others had been given extended leave due to being on international duty. This meant the likes of Bruno, Joelinton, Isak, Botman, Gordon, Wilson and Schar returned to our Benton base for the first time this summer.
The Brazilian duo naturally showed up together and we’ll certainly look forward to more of their midfield dominance and South American flair on the biggest stage next year.
Everyone looked to be in good spirits – even if Gordon had only enjoyed less than a week off – and unlike years gone by, there’s a sense of positivity throughout the whole club.
The players got to work both in the gym and on the pitch as they look to prepare for what will no doubt be an exciting but tiring season with Champions League ahead. Watch the full video below:
