Premier League manager facing sack ahead of Newcastle clash in 19 days – Report

It looks like Bournemouth could have a new manager when Newcastle United travel to the South Coast in 19 days time.

The Mail report that the Spaniard looks set to be the first Premier League sacking of the season after just nine games, with the Cherries currently 19th in the table and winless following Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Wolves.

After our trip to Wolves this weekend and home clash with Arsenal on November 4th, we travel to the Vitality on Saturday 11th November to face Eddie Howe’s former club.

As things stand, it looks like they could have a new man in charge, although it would feel slightly harsh to give the 41-year-old just two months.

He’s actually a manager Howe knows well, with the Toon boss spending time with Iraola during his period out of work in 2021, also inviting his Rayo Vallecano side to a St James’ Park friendly back in December last year.

TalkSPORT report that he could be given one more game – a home clash with Burnley this Saturday – so time will tell if he survives until our trip to Bournemouth in just over two weeks time.
