Former Toon striker Andy Carroll looks to be enjoying his time in France after he scored a stunning long-range goal for his new side Amiens in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
The forward joined the Ligue 2 side over the summer after leaving Reading back in August following their relegation to League One.
Since arriving, Carroll has made seven appearances – three of them starting – in which he has now scored twice – double his tally during his second stint at Newcastle. Watch his superb strike below!
Amiens had been 1-0 down to an early penalty before the 34-year-old caught the keep out from about 45 yards out, levelling the game and securing a point.
After a very tough time with a number of injuries throughout his Premier League career, it’s safe to say the former Liverpool man is back to enjoying his football.
