Spurs closing in on Newcastle target as player agrees personal terms – Fabrizio Romano

Over the past few months, Genoa centre-back Radu Dragusin has been repeatedly linked with a potential move to St James’ Park.

In October, the defender’s representative – Florin Manea – claimed that Newcastle had been watching the Romanian closely, with Fabrizio Romano also confirming that we sent scouts to see him in Serie A action.

Then in November, his agent confirmed talks with Newcastle, Arsenal and Spus ahead of the January window and it looks like the latter are closing in on his signature.

Fabrizio Romano reports that ‘personal terms have been agreed’ between the player and Tottenham, adding that the two clubs remain in talks and hope to finalise a deal ‘very soon.’

Who knows if he was a top target of ours or one of several centre-backs being watched, but it looks like Dragusin will be arriving in North London this month, not Newcastle.
