Callum Wilson responds to exit talk after Atletico Madrid & AC Milan interest

Callum Wilson has commented on his Newcastle future following interest from some of the top clubs in Europe.

The England international has drawn interest from Atletico Madrid and AC Milan, with the former keen to take the 31-year-old on loan in January.

However, the forward refused to be drawn in by the rumours, saying “there is always speculation’ during the transfer window.

Speaking on the latest episode of the Footballer’s Football Podcast, Wilson was asked if he had anything to say on rumours linking him with Atletico/Milan. He said: “No”

“It’s January. The window is open and there is always speculation with players, not just regarding myself but with everyone else in the squad as well.

“I haven’t got much more to say than that.”

Wilson joined the Magpies from Bournemouth in 2020 and has been a frequent first team player since. He has scored 46 Premier League goals including seven in 14 this season.
