Game On! Fulham v Newcastle

It's 'Game On' at the Cottage
It’s ‘Game On’ at the Cottage
Good afternoon all, and welcome to this ‘Game On’ article which will take us through every twist and turn of our trip to Fulham.

After a week off United should be fresh and should have a spring in their step after back-to-back victories against Aston Villa and Hull City but as we know football doesn’t work like that.

The home side will be desperate for a win as they battle against the drop with new manager Felix Magath yet to taste victory as chief of Fulham with only a single draw being registered in three attempts to date. As detailed in the match preview, the Cottagers are on a woeful run of form which will surely end at some point. I just hope that today isn’t that day.

The aforementioned match preview is online and can be viewed here. It features injury news for both sides, a look at the history of the fixture along with some stats thrown in for good measure.

The game itself is not being shown live here in the UK so once again we are reliant upon picking up a stream from an overseas broadcaster. Fortunately a few have the match listed for transmission so hopefully finding a stream shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Again though guys, if you do happen to find a working stream then please share it by leaving a link in the ‘comments’ section below. Team news will be published at the very bottom of this article as and when.

And that is just about that. I said in the match preview that I hate games where we are dubbed as favourites because ultimately there can only ever really be disappointment. We either get the job done as expected of us or fall flat on our faces – there is no middle ground.

Howay the lads!

  1. We know we always get nowt. with Webb,we did nothing to to win the game IMO just no game plan, they have the slowest centre half in the PL,so it would take no working out,so we pump high balls into him at 6ft7in,no effort to get behind them,no width to us,all **** game one of the worse games I have saw against a **** team

      (Quote)

  2. Quite simple really, we have a completely inadequate squad due to the neglect the owner has shown.

      (Quote)

  3. Agree that the owner should have invested more but player vs player, we are way ahead of Fulham.

On paper we should have won.

    We didn’t win.

Perhaps because Pardew is incredibly motivational during his half time team talks & that’s what we missed?

Perhaps the players have started to think ‘what’s the point’? – Nothing to play for so no point giving 100% when 70% will do. If we lose it doesn’t matter, we’re still midtable.

I still lay the blame at the coaching & training. None of the coaches or the manager stand out as a rising star in the game. All of them come across as thought they are still stuck in the late 90’s or early 2000’s.

Please can we get a new manager in? I don’t care if he is from the Championship, it would still be an improvement on League One Pardew.

Some of the Pardew fanboys will disagree but if you don’t want a managerial change surely you can agree we need some of the coaches to be replaced as a minimum?

It makes no sense supporting the status quo because of fear of the unknown. That’s like giving Shola an new long term deal because we don’t know what strikers we’ll have in the summer!

Pardew out! Let him take the coaches & academy staff with him followed by Mike.

  4. ST@147 Pretty much how i saw it.

The side that played yesterday should have beaten fulham end of, The bench was weakened by inuries but Dummett aside the team was rammed with experienced top level players.

P.S A couple of years back Harper would have been in by now and Krul would be dropped. He has cost us numerous matches this season; West brom, Swansea, Spurs and now fulham off the top of my head and probably more i cant remember. Love the lad but he needs a time out like Citeh did with Hart pre crimbo.

      (Quote)

  5. CC re Krul@154, spot on there mate, the lad needs a break. It’s a bit tricky dropping him though in World Cup year, he might get a real blob on 🙁

      (Quote)

  6. MM, He has had a few bloopers has Timmy, somehow he managed to be really good and really poor in one game V Hull 😉

      (Quote)

  7. Munich

They obviously cant do it while Elliotts out so hell keep his place but he certainly needs a kick up the ****. I thought being dropped from the dutch squad might have done the trick but obviously not….

It could have been 6 or 7, A few weeks ago pardew talked about what an achievement finished above man utd would be, But personally on what ive seen of them and our run in (apart from the last 2 away games) it should be a formality. Everton and Southampton look harder to jump imo

      (Quote)

  9. CC, I agree mate , Manure are really all at sea, I can see them sacking Moyes before long, I think the job is just too big for him. SAF had the luxury of having the rich team and everyone wanting to join them years back. Now it’s all change with mega bucks City on their doorstep ,it’s not so easy to be the big cheeses anymore and SAF knows that. He’s not daft he knew building another dominant team probably would be Nye on impossible given their neighbours ability to better any offer they make transfer fee/ wages wise, Chelsea too for that matter.
Yes will be harder to leapfrog the Toffees and Saints I agree, I would like to think we are a better side on paper than UTD but we are massively handicapped at the moment by not having Remy and Debs at our disposal. 🙁

      (Quote)

  10. MM&CC, I don’t know why we don’t go in for Kasper Schmeichel tbh he’s on a bosman perfect business for Jabba and a good goalie too.

      (Quote)

  11. Love Debuchy but we should get away without him. We have lots of options defensively.

Remys another matter we are so toothless without him. We need him back asap or as weve been saying all season the real Cisse back. You cant be an natural instinctive goalscorer for practically every season of his career and just lose it overnight. I guarantee if we let him leave he will get 15-20 goals next season for his new club.

      (Quote)

  12. CC, do you really think we are well covered at right back should Debuchy be sold ? 🙄 🙄

      (Quote)

  13. I didnt say anything about him being sold. Hes out for a couple of weeks, Theres no reason why Yanga Mbiwa, Santon, Saylor, Anita whoever cant fill in until hes back.

      (Quote)

  14. Man U are utterly broken now. It could take 150M pounds to fix them. Will they commit to spending that type of money under Moyes? I have my doubts about that. As for us, it’s hard to assess the team after an effort like that. We woefully short at striker with Remy leaving. We need a top class AMF and we need to start sorting out the CB’s of the future. Is MYM going to be good enough. What to do about Santon? What to do if Debuchy leaves? Lots of questions, few answers.

      (Quote)

  15. Frankly for me the following should or will leave us this summer:
Saylor, very disappointing when he plays, tries to do too much, often caught out of position
Marveaux, for whatever reason it just wasn’t meant to be with us, should go for his own good
Obertan, hopeless other than pace, can leave anytime for me
Remy, wants Champs league footy and a big wage, will get neither with us
Cisse, another failed experiment, completely lacking in confidence now and has been for ages
Gosling, too slow after all the injuries, personal problems, and never really had a chance with us
Santon? difficult one, often caught completely out of position, only when Colo is behind him do we survive his jaunts up the field (usually)
Shola, completely finished as a Prem striker
De Jong?, definitely not a striker, is he a setup man for a good new striker? not sure at all with him
Huge changes need to be made in the summer but do we have anyone skilled enough to make them?

      (Quote)

  16. I wonder if Fergie has mixed feelings about bringing a world class manager in to ManU to match his achievments if possible? Surely he wants more success than they are achieving now though 🙂 . Yep agree with you bm that Sherwood will be gone by summer. Serves Fergie right for letting ManU get so old at key positions. We have a huge challenge ahead as well with a clueless owner.

      (Quote)

  17. Mbiwa IS good enough already when played consistently alongside Williamson.

He’s good enough alongside Coloccini but neither of them are as solid as Williamson in the air.

We can all moan about Cisse or De Jong etc but the fact is we’re not getting the ball quickly enough into the box. If we shoot from inside the box we have more chance of scoring.

Suarez & Sturridge haven’t just magically gotten better. They were good before but the real credit goes to Rodgers. What they (& Liverpool) are doing is getting forward & into the box quicker – that’s down to Rodgers & his training sessions.

When we had that 6 game winning streak we were racing to get forward. Our build up now (& last season) is too slow & Man Uyd had the same problem today.

Remy does well on his own because he is quick. Gouffran would do just as well if he was upfront. We have too much emphasis on staying behind the ball & not taking the risk of getting forward.

      (Quote)

  18. Would you keep Cisse KK mate? I mean in all honesty when was the last really top game he played with us? His misses are wild balloon shots. He looks like he’s forgotten everything he ever learned about football. I could kick a ball harder than De Jong when he shoots on goal. Unbelievably poor at shooting. Does he not practice? We just don’t seem to be heading in the right direction for next year. What does Ashley have planned for the summer? Anything at all? Very worrisome unless a miracle happens and he decides to hire a real football man and not another lackey.

      (Quote)

  19. I would love to see Cisse score a hat trick against Palace but our form is all over the place. I just don’t think the lads get the type of coaching and tactics they need from Pards, Carver, Woodman, Stone etc. This is a mess from the top down created by Ashley. We pull together for a few games then collapse completely for a few games. It’s all over the place. No consistency at all and big worries about who decides what the incoming will be next summer.

      (Quote)

  20. Mbiwa is still at least one season away from being an average defender.

Cisse is shot. The lad needs to leave for his own good.

De Jong is powder puff, and will remain so.

The knacker running the club, and his lackey Pardew are creating so much behind the scenes turbulence that it is affecting the team.

We have some average players and a bunch of new foreigners who need “nurturing” up to EPL standard. Who can honestly blame the players, who to a tee (apart from Collo) have behaved impecably and gave there all for the club, feeling thoroughly pissed off over what is happening at the club ? Players being sold, Pardew’s constant misdemeanours (even here Ashley has played a major role), Joe Kinnear at the club, a lack of investment at the club.

    We are a shambles.

      (Quote)

  21. @G2

STaylor – very solid CB on his day. Some games he’ll make a mistake that will cost us the game but his biggest problem is he is too injury prone to be an ever present centre back.

Marveaux – either Pardew or Marveaux need to leave.

Marveaux is not tough like Tiote & despite not being Pardew’s first choice, he was still our top assist maker last season & created the most chances per min than any other player at the clubfor 2 seasons running.

Completely wasted by Pardew & not appreciated by some fans that still think if you don’t run around like a headless chicken, you must be lazy & therefore dropped from the team.

Obertan – still lacks confidence & was never really accepted by the fans. He needs to be loaned out to a smaller Spanish club otherwise we should cut our losses.

Remy – the door is not closed yet. I don’t think Wenger is interest & the rest of the top 4 have better options. He could end up at Spurs, Everton or somwhere abroad.

Whoever sorted the loan deal out, didn’t do a good enough job because they should have tied him down pending his court case.

Cisse – he still has it but we just have to hope Pardew realises that we need to be playing a creative mid (marv!) for him to score. Marv & Cisse do well together.

Gosling – not quite sure what type of player he is. Seems to be decent all round but nothing as a speciality. A fresh start for him would be best because his position already has alot of competition.

Santon – is he a full back? Maybe he is the winger we’ve all been wanting. Somethong needs to be done about the left back position because it’s a waste having 3.

Shola – sometimes i think he is too strong for the premier league & his style of football is different too. Either way, De Jong is his replacement.

De Jong – a good team player & centre forward. Not prolific but hardworking & can bring others into play.

  22. A disaster created by an egotistical, cretinous owner with the maturity of an 8 year old. Sulking when people criticize his pathetic attempts at hiring lackeys, shutting out the press for any negative criticism, hiding in the castle. The idiot deserves every negative piece of press he gets just for hiring Kinnear as DoF alone. That has set us back 3 or 4 years having that idiot sit there and do nothing for 2 windows.

      (Quote)

  23. Great discussion today mates. I’m off now but I’ll be back to read all your comments when I can.

      (Quote)

  24. G2@168 , a Little while back I read that Manure would be willing to spend £250m on player recruitment this summer 😯 , in another link by some finance guy ,he said not making CL this season would financially be a disaster for them. Later I think it was 3hourswasted pointed out they just did a mega deal with I think Chrysler which has effectively saved their bacon financially , It’s also worth noting that should they fail to make CL they will just go on a Money spinning preseason tour of the far east or where ever, what ever, they certainly will have a money making contingency plan in place, pity we as a club aren’t as smart, our pre seasons are an unmitigated disasters by and large 🙄 😳 .

      (Quote)

  25. I think De Jong links excellently with Remy, pity he’s not staying 🙄 If we could find another like Remy, things would look brighter. One things for sure De Jong isn’t gonna grab us the goals we need to survive next season on his own. Cisse HAS to come good or we are fecked . Of course young Armstrong could be a revelation but he’ll only get sold come January if he is 😉

      (Quote)

  26. Kim – I think De Jong would link up well with Finnbogason and Abel Henandez.
I agree with your earlier post about young Kasper as well. Krul has some cracking games shot stopping but he is consistently poor with his distribution – and with respect to him but Elliott is no competition.
I’d defo take Kasper on a free, and Kaboul from Spuds.

      (Quote)

  27. I really hope Ashley spends some cash in the summer on a half descent strike force, Cisse not included.

      (Quote)

  28. I’d wouldn’t mind seeing our front 6 looking like this next season:

    —————- Tiote ————-
    Siem De Jong —-Lewis Holtby
    ——— Luuk De Jong ———
    — Finnbogason — Henandez —

      (Quote)

  29. @sharpy17

Just wondering why you’d prefer to se De Jong in a no10 role?

And is Hotby an improvement on what we already have?

I don’t think he is but would like to know what you think he could offer?

      (Quote)

  30. KK – re De Jong, I think he could offer more in that position to be honest. He doesn’t really have the pace to be a CF in the PL as in running in behind the defence. But I think he has a good first touch and can find a good through ball. I also think he could perform a bit of a Nolan role getting into the box late.

Re Holtby, from what I’ve see he has an excellent work rate. He naturally left footed and can play a defence splitting pass. He has a decent shot on him and can tackle. I personally think he looks better than Anita has so yes, I think he is better than what we have. Siem De Jong could perform a similar role on the right side. He made not have the engine of Sissoko or Goof, but he can pass the ball better than both – he would be more creative, as would Holtby – and both can hit a dead ball better than any of our starting 11 at the moment – IMO 😉

      (Quote)

  31. Sharpy@182, God that’s a mouthwatering line up mate ,that’ll do me. Agree on Holtby really like the look of him but don’t see Jabba going in for him tbh, it’s too sensible a move 🙄
Re, Kaboul ,like him but isn’t he over 27 mate?, that puts him out the equation with our age policy doesn’t it. ❓

      (Quote)

  32. Kim – it would be my preferred line up for next season – but I’m sure it wouldn’t be everyone’s like – including Pardews 😆
The other thing is that I reckon each would cost around £8m a man (rough guess). So all 5 would be £40m. We have £20m from Cabaye, but do you see Jabba adding £20m to that? – I know I don’t 🙄

      (Quote)

  33. Kim – re Kaboul, that’s what I was thinking. If its a free then we may bend the rules – especially if he’s getting rid of Taylor who’s the same age, or finally allows Colo to leave for Argy and who is obviously older.

If Kaboul was given a 3 yr contract then that would give Good and Streete time to come through – if they do

      (Quote)

  34. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy could rake in a whopping £8million from Fulham for Lewis Holtby.

The west Londoners sealed a deal on Thursday for the 23-year-old attacking midfielder, who is surplus to requirements at Levy’s Spurs, to move on loan with a view to a permanent deal at £8m.

German international Holtby moved to White Hart Lane for just £1.5m, on a four-and-a-half year deal, from Bundesliga side Schalke last January.

Mirror Sport understands Holtby will earn £70,000-a-week at Craven Cottage as Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen bids to revamp his side.

He aint coming to the cold north for peanuts 🙁

      (Quote)

  35. MM – the 2 clubs could agree a fee but Holtby would have to agree personally terms for the deal to go through. If Fulham get relegated I can’t see him wanting to go there permanently mate.
How the hell can Fulham afford to pay him 70k as well by the way?

      (Quote)

  36. Fucking Fulham ffs, is he mad 😯 ,Let’s hope they go down then and he has a change of heart, you never know we might loan him 😆

      (Quote)

  37. Dave ,I think it’s more a case of we won’t be making any real attempts to bring anyone in tbh 👿

      (Quote)

  38. Kim well thats the usual.but im sure there will be plenty of bloggers saying “ah well we.tried but we wont be held to ransom ”

      (Quote)

  39. Kim – surely we better than anyone knows that just coz a player is on loan at a club, doesn’t mean they are nailed on to go there.
The pity though is that I’m not sure we are even interested in Holtby.

There was an article suggesting that Pardew wants Ravel Morrison yesterday.

      (Quote)

  40. missed the match this weekend
went walking and camping in the Lake District.
No phone signal, no internet nothing.
Figured another 3 points in the bag no problem.
Utter bollix tho as per usual.
seems like I missed nothing really.
This squad we have can’t even compete with the bottom of the league tripe without their on loan talisman.
    Total and utter joke.
How many matches have we won with Remy missing ❓
would that be close to none or what.
    ****

      (Quote)

  41. Of course we are NOT interested in Holtby.
    with wages @ 70k + lol
    NOPE keep trying.

      (Quote)

  42. We need a massive sort out this summer.
Its gonna be funny as ****, as there just wont be the necessary money available to buy the quantity of players we need.
I really fear the worst for next season already.
At least we are better prepared for it this time tho so it wont come as a great shock when we are rock bottom come xmas. 👿

      (Quote)

  43. Pardew will be shown up to the whole world, how truly and utterly **** a manager and coach he really is.
He will regret being the spineless **** sucking ****** that he is, and finally realise where it has gotten him.
    SACKED.

      (Quote)

  44. Absolutely. I don’t suppose Pards thought that there were 3pts “in the Bag”.

Does yesterday’s performance show what he brings to the touchline? or is it just that his whole culture is flawed?

      (Quote)

  45. Prem – it showed me that our coaching staff aren’t good enough and that we no creativity in a squad full of players who can’t motivate themselves to play well after a fortnight off.

It showed me that Colo is not a vocal leader on the pitch and without someone barking orders from the touchline, the players don’t seem interested.

Do the players not understand what they are meant to be doing?. Do they not agree with what they are meant to be doing?. Are they not good enough to execute what they are being asked?.
I’m not sure what the answer is but I know that we weren’t blown away by Fulham. They didnt come out of the blocks and have us against the ropes from minute one. They weren’t great but we were certainly poor! – why?.

      (Quote)

  46. What pissed me off against Fulham and it happens week in week out – is that we don’t press the ball when the opposition have it. We stand off and give them so much time to play and look up and pick a pass.
Fulhams goal – no midfielder put any pressure on Holtby, who was allowed to run freely at us. He played the ball off to Mick Jagger who was in loads of space. Mapou doesn’t put any pressure on him at all and he has so much room when he gets his shot away. It was a poor effort by Krul, but the defending was a disgrace!.
Also, if you watch Holtby continues his run into the box with nobody tracking him at all. If Krul had saved it, Holtby would have had a tap in coz nobody followed his run.
    It’s so frustrating to watch.

      (Quote)

  47. Looks like Tiote had a poor game.
Maybe something to do with having the armband taken off him and given back to the cry baby.
Aussie – I’m only negative when the team plays total and utter tripe.
I certainly give praise when its due, so equally will be negative when its warranted.
It’s NOT because we lost, but the manner in which we lost.
2 weeks to prepare for that match. Resulted in an abject performance from the whole sorry bunch.
They deserve all the criticism they get.

      (Quote)

  48. Are people not seeing the bigger picture here?

Throw the game against Fulham who are now just a point behind the mackems…Palace got a point at the stadium of plight, it’s all falling into place 😛

Liverpool are looking utter class now aren’t they. How many pundits or fans saw that a year or two ago? We got thumped last year by them which seemed unusual but it’s becoming the norm a lot now, Manure should have lost by about 5. He didn’t play well but Sturridge at 10 mil was such a steal, he may be on double the wages but you compare him to Cisse for the same pricetag and well… 😕

      (Quote)

  49. Georgio – we have a manager/head coach who has lost all respect from the players imho and a bunch of dinosaurs for coaches.
Just look at our set pieces. Shambolic to say the least.

      (Quote)

  50. Georgio – yeah I agree mate. All to often we aren’t even getting the basics right in a game – passing, controlling the ball, pressing the opposition, movement when we have the ball.
When you watch teams who can play football – Arsenal, Liverpool, Southampton – all get the basics right.
Teams like us, West Ham, Stoke are so horrible to watch I think.
Fair enough, Pardew has picked the points us – but it’s bloody ugly football to watch!.

      (Quote)

  51. Boots – I think Tiote struggled because he had little to no support from Anita or Sissoko. He also didnt have the outlet of Santon or Debuchy on the wings so when he had the ball he didnt know who to pass to. When you watch him he regularly looks to play it to one of the fullbacks to try and get them forward. But with Mapou and Dummett playing deeper, he didnt have that pass.

Newkie – Sturridge is class but can still be ball greedy at times. But when you can score the way he can then why not. Don’t think he’s gonna win us the World Cup though 😆

      (Quote)

  52. sharpy – Ugly football is spot on mate.
And it’s never changed under Pardoom.
He’s so far out of his depth, its embarrassing.

      (Quote)

  53. What really got me going was it was obvious that Fulham have a really **** defence. They were all over the place when we attacked but what we did was dreadful. Neither Gouffran, Anita or Sissoko knew what they were supposed to be doing and it showed. They’re good players. Management and coaching! Is Dummett better than Fergie? Where’s Haidara? Dummett’s floated deliveries were awful but we’re giving him all the free kicks and corners. I guess this is what you get when you play with nine men. Our three donkeys up front are absolutely useless. The worst three forwards in the PL together. Who thought De Jong was a good player? FFS! I’m furious with the lack of nous from Pardew/Carver/Stone. Take them away please.

      (Quote)

  54. Yeah Tiote couldn’t really get a hold on the game but none of our lot seemed interested. There is nothing to play for and everyone knows it, and it doesn’t seem like Carver has any effect on the touchline.

Sharpy-it’s not just the goals though mate, what I would do for a striker who can actually dribble and god forbid beat a man to create a chance for himself ffs. Only Remy can do that and he aint even ours.

      (Quote)

  55. On Armstrong, Carver said “He’s the one guy who does come alive when he gets the ball.” Isn’t that what they all should do John? It looks like all our coaches are actually thick. We need a new set entirely. Intelligent, lively and up to speed with what the PL is these days. Not the 1980s.

      (Quote)

  56. Yeah Dummett on free kick and corner duty now seems to be paying the price, I think it may be affecting his confidence. He wasn’t great to begin with (but let’s face it Cabaye wasn’t superb unless he was shooting) but it just seems to be getting worse. Is nobody capable of crossing the ball? Then again, we don’t actually have any wingers and our midfielders are either just destroyers or tippy tap passers, there aren’t any actual natural crossers of the ball, other than say, Sammy Ameobi 😯 and I’m not sure how he’d do with an actual set piece.

      (Quote)

  57. Newkie – I know, he’s a very intelligent player. He’s always looking to run in behind the defence as well. Our lot seem to always want the ball to feet.
I have to hold my hands up and say I never really rated Rodgers – but how wrong was I?!. He has players like Allen, Henderson, Flanigan and Sterling playing really well at the moment. It helps to have a Sturridge, Suarez and Gerrard in the team as well like 😆

      (Quote)

  58. Sharpy-Yeah exactly, the only things that let him down usually are his greed and his celebrations. Seriously, his little dance is possibly the worst one going…

Ditto re Rodgers, I hold my hand up to laughing off Liverpool in recent years, I thought he’d repair them compared to Dalglish but never would I have thought they’d do so well. Still, this is what buying the right player at the right time gets you. 23 mil for Suarez who is now worth probably triple that? Sturridge will be worth about 40 million considering he is English 🙄 Rodgers seems a lot more attatck minded than he was at Swansea which is good to watch, he doesn’t just try and draw every away game anymore.

      (Quote)

  59. The delivery makes or breaks it; Look at the ammount of goals we scored from dead balls in Pardews first 6 months in charge with Barton taking them, Compared to the last few years with Cabaye, Marveaux, Ben Arfa, Anita, Raylor and now Dummett. Who between them have failed hundreds of times to beat the first man or put the ball somewhere around the penalty spot where the keeper cant throw his cap on it.

Watch the football league after MOTD count the set piece goals from clubs like Torquay and Accrington. Players with a fraction of the talent manage to do it without a 2nd thought.

  60. CC-Yeah people say only Carroll did well from the set pieces but it just isn’t true. Staylor and Ameobi and I think Nolan and Best all got goals from Joey’s deliveries even after Carroll had gone.

I still remember the Leeds friendly where I think Cabaye finally got the nod to take set pieces over Joey and you could tell even then they were worse. I don’t think they ever really improved.

  61. If Swansea got relegated this season, would Hollywood still be willing to make a film about them ❓

We scored 11 from set pieces in 23 matches under Pardew in his first half season and only one was by Carroll. As you say Nolan, Shola and Best all scored from them and Saylor got 3 in 3 at the end of the season. The problem has nowt to do with inadequate coaching or not practising them enough its because of **** poor delivery.

If Barton had stayed and been given dead balls back (Taking them off him was a fecking joke btw) in that 4-3-3 with Cabaye and Tiote in midfield with Ba, Cisse and Ben Arfa red hot up top. We would have sauntered into the champions league that season twirling a cane

  63. Well I’m still half comatosed from watching that insipid display from us on Saturday. When oh when will we start playing some entertaining football, don’t get me wrong it’s nice to be safe and picking up points but we are boring our way to safety and I’m getting very jealous of teams like Liverpool ,saints, city et al , Christ even Norwich know how to score and give it a go 🙄 .

I really don’t think it’s owt to do with Pards being away from the touchline as at the end of the day we been just as cack entertainment wise as when he is present. The guy and his coaches just had a whole 2 weeks to prep for that game and it’s just unacceptable to give up the ghost like that, half the team didn’t appear to know who to bloody pass to ffs, shockingly lacklustre all round, not happy at all.
