Diame Ready For “Biggest Game of The Season”

As reported by the Chronicle, Newcastle United’s Senegalese international, Mo Diame has weighed in with his thoughts on the race for promotion.

Signed from Hull City in the summer, with the tigers fresh off the back of a promotion, Diame is experienced in these situations, and when asked about the situation this year, the play-maker said: “There are still 13 games to go.

“So for me, that’s a long time.

“Brighton have been up there from the beginning.

“Last year they did well too.

“I think they will be trying to make sure what happened last season doesn’t repeat itself.

“They will want to avoid the play-offs.

When asked how important the clash between the two teams on Tuesday night will be, Diame said: “They will definitely be ready for us so we must be ready for them.”

“It will be the biggest game of the season.

“But it’s not going be the be all and end all for the season overall.

“It will be very important though no doubt.”
