Watch as Christian Atsu scores 90th minute winner to beat Spurs’ Moussa Sissoko in FIFA tournament

Our very own Christian Atsu has been representing Newcastle United just a few minutes ago – but not as you might expect.

The Ghanaian was taking on non other than Tottenham’s Moussa Sissoko in a ePremier League invitational clash on FIFA 20 from 3.45pm – and Atsu came out on top in dramatic style.

Joelinton opened the scoring in the first half, only for Sissoko to pull one back in the second (via a goal from Moussa himself!), however Atsu sent us into the next round – where he will face Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold – with a 90th minute strike from Jonjo Shelvey!

Watch all the goals below:

It all felt strangely familiar for most of it – despite it being played virtually via a video game. Moussa Sissoko’s decision making and composure was woeful, Atsu’s FIFA play was pretty cumbersome in the main, Dubrabka was making several great saves and Joelinton scored against Spurs – the only Premier League side he’s bagged against so far this season!

Not only that, it was noticeable during the pre-match chat that Sissoko is still a big Newcastle fan, with him having a huge picture of the Tyne Bridge, a photo of him celebrating a goal in a NUFC shirt and black and white sofas!

For anyone keen to see follow this, Atsu is set to take on Liverpool’s Alexander-Arnold in the next round.
