4 Newcastle stars set to start vs West Brom after a series of clear hints ahead of kick off?

It would be an understatement to say the Newcastle United XI is tough to predict for today’s clash with West Brom at 3pm.

That being said, there’s a few players who look set to be available if you join the dots, take the hints and see what certain players have posted on social media over the past few days.

With that in mind, four players who seem highly likely to start tomorrow are Callum Wilson, Joelinton, Matt Ritchie and Isaac Hayden.

Wilson is an obvious one, with him confirming on his Instagram page that he was one of the ‘small group’ of players who trained on Wednesday.

Matt Ritchie also appears to be another who’s available, with him conducting an interview with NUFC TV from the Benton base on Thursday.

Isaac Hayden is believed to be one of the ‘two or three’ who missed out at Crystal Palace with Covid, and Steve Bruce confirmed on Friday morning that those players have now served their time in self-isolation and are fit again. With that in mind, Hayden should return.

Last but not least, Bruce talked up Joelinton in his press conference yesterday, stating that he’s hoping to see the Brazilian keep up the form that saw him bag a goal and an assist a fortnight ago.

So, we could see the same front two, Hayden in midfield and Ritchie either out wide or at full-back, depending one who else is available.

We shall see, but this would be a decent start considering how bad the situation looked this time last week!

* UPDATE: Dwight Gayle also in the squad for today’s game after recovering from injury.
