Alexander Isak has been filmed leaving the club’s training base and arriving at St James’ Park as Newcastle United prepare to announce their new record-breaking signing.
After a £58m deal with Real Sociedad was agreed last night, the 6ft 4′ striker caught a private jet to Tyneside earlier today, arriving at Newcastle airport alongside sporting director Dan Ashworth and head of recruitment Steve Nickson.
The Swedish international was captured arriving at our Benton training base a few hours ago and is now completing the formalities at St James’ Park.
Sky Sports have confirmed that the player has passed his medical ahead of signing a five-year contract with the club, with official confirmation expected to arrive either tonight or tomorrow morning.
