Sacking imminent as yet another Premier League boss looks set to lose their job – The Telegraph

Just eight games into the new season, it looks like Southampton’s Ralph Hasenhuttl is about to become the fourth Premier League manager to be dismissed.

As revealed by The Telegraph, the 55-year-old is now ‘on the brink’ of losing his job at St Mary’s following a 2-1 defeat to Everton last weekend.

Newcastle United face a trip to Southampton in a month’s time, but it seems someone else will be in the opposition dugout when the two sides meet on November 6th.

If and when he’s relieved of his duties, he’ll follow Scott Parker (Bournemouth), Thomas Tuchel (Chelsea) and Bruno Lage (Wolves) in losing his job, with the same outlet also reporting that Steve Cooper is in danger of being sacked at Nottingham Forest.

The Saints spent

They spent just shy of £75m over the summer, bringing in a host of young talents including Armel Bella-Kotchap, Romeo Lavia, Gavin Bazunu and Sekou Mara, but currently sit 16th in the table following a slow start to the season.
