Ahead of the big kick off on Sunday, we now know the six Newcastle United players who will be competing at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Kieran Trippier, Nick Pope and Callum Wilson are all in England’s 26-man squad, Bruno Guimaraes is out there with Brazil, Switzerland have Fabian Schar and Toon-bound teenager Garang Kuol will represent Australia.
England’s Group B features Iran, USA and Wales, Australia’s Group D involves France, Denmark and Tunisia, while Bruno’s Brazil and Schar’s Switzerland will meet in Group G; where they’ll also come up Serbia’s former Mag, Aleksandar Mitrovic.
