Two Mags set for rare starts at Chelsea and teenager eyeing Premier League debut – Report

Eddie Howe looks set to hand rare starts to Martin Dubravka and Elliot Anderson on Sunday, according to the Shields Gazette.

Lewis Miley could also make his Premier League debut, with the 17-year-old in contention to play some part after being an unused substitute in each of our last two games.

Anderson made just his second start of the league season against Leicester and did well. He’s likely to be given another shot from the off, especially with Joe Willock (hamstring) ruled out and Joelinton a doubt after pulling out of the warm up on Monday.

This could be Dubravka’s final game for the Magpies having signed back in 2018, making almost 130 Premier League appearances and playing a crucial role in keeping the club afloat in the last five years.

With this game essentially a dead rubber, it would be good to see a mixture of upcoming young members of the squad and experienced members who may be on the way out in the summer, using this as one final celebration.
