Newcastle United star set for Saudi Pro League offer – Report

Allan Saint-Maximin is the latest Premier League star to be linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League.

According to 90min, a host of Saudi sides are preparing a move for the winger, while Everton, Crystal Palace, AC Milan and Marseille are also thought to be interested.

The Frenchman was limited to just 12 starts last season and is believed to be considering his options for his long-term future, with a new improved contract no longer under discussion.

It had been previously reported that the Magpies would consider selling the 26-year-old, as he is one of the only sellable assets at the club and would help out with navigating around FFP.

There have been a number of stars make the jump to Saudi Arabia in recent weeks. With Newcastle’s ties to the PIF – who now own 75% of the ‘big four’ sides in KSA – this would certainly be a lucrative deal for the player.

It remains unclear what will happen to ASM this summer. Some suggest he’s ready to fight for his place ahead of our Champions League campaign, while others believe we’ll look to cash in now he’s no longer one of our first names on the team sheet.

  1. If Howe is looking for a left winger like Harvey Barnes it will be get as much as you can from Saudi Pro League for Maxi and build the squad.

  2. I’m sick to death of you lot stirring it regarding Maxi, Howe is on the record as saying he wants to keep him, yet you bunch of hacks seem determined to rock the boat. Howe asked you lot NOT to unsettle players and fans with garbage, yet you continue to do it. Pathetic and dangerous
