Garang Kuol set for second loan spell as Championship clubs target striker

According to The Chronicle, Garang Kuol is set for another loan move away from Newcastle with a number of Championship clubs interested in the forward.

Kuol signed for the Magpies in January and briefly visited the city and training ground before joining Hearts on a six-month loan deal where he made just a handful of appearances.

The 18-year-old is again expected to leave the club temporarily with Dan Ashworth keen to continue his development with first-team football elsewhere.

A number of Championship clubs are believed to have previously taken an interest in the Australian international and could be a destination for him this summer.

If he can get some consistent playing time, the Championship would be a great league for our young striker to adapt to the English game and continue to grow as a player.

  1. For goodness sake don’t send him back to Scotland a Championship English side with a record for advancing youngsters or he will just disappear 🫥🤷🏼‍♂️

  2. I digest Bristol Rover’s Joey Barton is the sort of No nonsense manager the likes of Kuol needs at this stage of his career He also knows a good player when he sees one 🤷🏼‍♂️
