New Yankuba Minteh footage set to wow Eddie Howe as Feyenoord loanee shows class again

Yankuba Minteh appears to have made a positive start to his season-long loan spell at Feyenoord.

He’s already scored on his first appearance – a pre-season friendly against PEC Zwolle – and showed his creative spark with a calm assist in last weekend’s 2-0 win over FC Dordrecht.

However, his work off the ball has also stood out, as a clip has emerged from Feyenoord’s cup final defeat to PSV that’s bound to impress Eddie Howe.

After coming on for the final 30 minutes of last Friday’s Dutch Super Cup, he showed his work rate and determination to get back and defend with an outstanding recovery challenge in the final seconds of the game.

PSV were 1-0 up at the time and threatening to make it 2-0, but the 19-year-old had other ideas with a superb burst of speed and tackle. Watch the moment below, followed by his pre-season assist 24 hours later:
