The Champions League draw may be grabbing the headlines, but there’s plenty happening on the outgoing front at Newcastle United.
The Mail’s Craig Hope has confirmed that Isaac Hayden has arrived in South Yorkshire ahead of a season-long loan move to Sheffield Wednesday.
He had looked set to join Luton earlier this week, but it seems he’ll now complete a medical with the Owls ahead of a season in the Championship.
Elsewhere, Sky Sports have confirmed that the Sheffield Wednesday have also submitted a loan bid for Jeff Hendrick, suggesting they’re looking to sign not one but two Newcastle United midfielders before Friday’s 11pm deadline.
Last but not least, the club have announced that 20-year-old attacking midfielder Joe White has joined League Two side Crewe Alexandra on a season-long loan. He spent last season with League One side Exeter City and leaves our U21 set up for some much needed minutes at senior level.
