Yankuba Minteh at it again – Exciting footage as Toon loanee shines on Feyenoord return

It hasn’t taken Yankuba Minteh long to make an impact following his return from the African Cup of Nations.

In his first start since returning from Gambia duty, the winger caused havoc in their 2-0 win over local rivals Sparta Rotterdam.

Starting on the right in Sunday’s victory, the 19-year-old created two big chances thanks to some quick feet and pinpoint crossing and won a second half penalty after bursting past his man. Watch highlights from the game below, which showcase Minteh’s exciting pace, skill and creativity:

Elsewhere, forgotten man Isaac Hayden has already gained plenty of plaudits at QPR, as he impressed on his debut at Loftus Road over the weekend, while Ryan Fraser boosted Southampton’s promotion hopes in a frantic 5-3 win over Huddersfield.

Fellow loanee Jeff Hendrick has been left out of Sheffield United’s squad for the remainder of the 2023/24 season and Harrison Ashby has suffered another injury, seeing him miss Swansea’s 1-0 win at Hull.
