Going into the game against Cardiff at the weekend, which is also the first game that Newcastle will play in November, just how good is Newcastle’s current form.
Looking back over October, it is clear to see that the teams form is very good. In fact, it is so good that not only did Newcastle not lose in October but they didn’t draw either.
That’s right, Newcastle United have a 100%-win ratio in the month of October. In fact, even journeying back to September, Newcastle only lost once.
Here’s hoping Newcastle can continue this great form in November, starting against Cardiff. However, there are some very tough games coming up, including away games against Leeds and Hull, the latter being even more of a lottery with it being a cup tie.
Another 100% month would not only see Newcastle through to the semi-finals of the EFL Cup, a remarkable achievement for a Championship club but also meant they could not have the gap shut on them in the league.
One thing is for sure, November should be a very exciting month.
