- The Daily Mirror claim Rafa Benitez is ‘keen’ to do a deal for Arsenal’s £15m rated left-back Kieran Gibbs as he looks to bolster Newcastle’s left-back options.
- Reports from Turkey have claimed that new Fenerbahce manager Aykut Kocaman will target the loan signing of Aleksandar Mitrovic this summer.
- Newcastle’s pursuit of Ruben Semedo appears to have hit a snag according to Portuguese reports, with details of sell on fees & rumoured interest from Southampton casting the deal into doubt (A Bola).
- Newcastle are leading the race to sign Manchester City’s Fabian Delph and are also considering a move for team-mate Bacary Sagna, who’ll become a free agent this summer (Daily Star).
- Portuguese reports claim Newcastle have registered an interest in Sporting Lisbon left-back Marvin Zeegelaar. The Dutchman is believed to be available at a cut-price fee of £3.5m this summer.
- Despite impressing out on loan, Kevin Mbabu’s Newcastle United career could be all but over, with recent claims that the 22-year-old full-back is set to join BSC Young Boys on a 3-year-deal.
