Eddie Howe has named a strong side ahead of today’s 3pm kick-off against Mainz 05, handing Sven Botman his first start at the Kufstein Arena.
The boss has gone with the same side that finished Friday’s 3-0 win over 1860 Munich, seeing the likes of Kieran Trippier, Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton all start.
Jay Turner-Cooke, Matt Ritchie and Matty Longstaff have returned to the squad, however there’s no Jamal Lewis (calf), Federico Fernandez (calf), Javier Manquillo (groin), Kell Watts (knee), Karl Darlow, Mark Gillespie or Dwight Gayle.
Here’s the side Howe’s gone with, along with the subs bench and seven forced to sit out of today’s game:
STARTING XI: Dubravka – Trippier, Schar, Botman, Dummett – S Longstaff, Guimaraes, Joelinton – Almiron, Wood, Fraser.
SUBS: Pope, Krafth, Lascelles, Burn, Targett, Murphy, Willock, Shelvey, Anderson, Saint-Maximin, Wilson, Ritchie, M Longstaff, Turner-Cooke.
