After weeks of speculation, Sky Sports confirmed earlier today that Newcastle United have agreed a deal to bring Garang Kuol to St James’ Park.
The Aussie star will soon travel to Tyneside to finalise personal terms and make plans for his official move in the new year, with him set to be named a Newcastle player on January 1st before joining a European side on loan to help him qualify for a work permit.
So, who is Garang Kuol and what sort of player are we getting? Well, one clip has emerged on social media of his four goals this season. Not a huge tally, but when you consider he’s just turned 18 and has played just 145 minutes of action this season, it’s very impressive, featuring a host of lovely finishes and some great movement.
