Bein Sports reporter reveals moment NUFC star made her day in Qatar – Watch brilliant story here

Bein Sports reporter Carrie Brown revealed how both Kieran Trippier and Raheem Sterling went out of their way to say hello to her parents – who both suffer from dementia – while she was on a Zoom call from Qatar.

The presenter had been working consistently during the buildup to the World Cup and unfortunately didn’t have a lot of time to call her parents, who are living in a care home and refusing to believe she was really out in the Middle East.

However, after Brown had tried to convince them by showing the surroundings and the stadium after the Iran game, Sterling had spotted the zoom call and was soon joined by Trippier to speak and interact with her parents.

As Brown states in the clip, this small but incredibly kind gesture just exemplifies the ‘special relationship’ this team have and the togetherness in this England team that has helped them to galvanise the nation during the tournament.

Of course we already knew the leadership skills that Trippier possesses from his first 12 months on Tyneside, but this just further proves what a great character we’ve got on our hands and how he offers so much more than just a great ability on the pitch.
