The bookies have spoken ahead of tonight’s Carabao Cup quarter-final, which will see Newcastle United face Leicester City at St James’ Park.
As expected, Man City (5/6) are the overwhelming favourites, with Man Utd in second (5/2) and Newcastle United third, as Eddie Howe’s Mags have been priced at 9/2 by Sky Bet to lift the League Cup.
Man City travel to Southampton in the last eight, while Man Utd – who were priced at longer odds than us heading into the last 16 – are the new second favourites after drawing Charlton at home.
Leicester are priced at 16/1 outsiders ahead of their trip to Tyneside, followed by Nottingham Forest (20/1), Wolves (25/1), Southampton (33/1) and Charlton (200/1), who will head to Old Trafford on a high following their shootout win over Brighton.
Here’s Sky Bet’s latest outright odds in full, followed by the quarter-final draw:
- Man City – 5/6
- Man Utd – 5/2
- Newcastle – 9/2
- Leicester – 16/1
- Nottingham Forest – 20/1
- Wolves – 25/1
