It looks like Karl Darlow has made a big impression at Hull City following his January loan move from Newcastle United.
He kept a clean sheet and was named man of the match in his first home game for the club – a 2-0 win over West Brom – and has now won another MOTM award for his display in Monday’s 1-0 win over Millwall.
In between that, he pulled off one of the saves of the season in last week’s 4-4 draw with Sunderland, keeping Hull in the game before a 98th minute spot kick earned the Tigers a point to all but end the Mackems’ slim play-off hopes.
Hull fans are already calling for the club to make his loan move a permanent one. Wherever he goes, his impressive loan spell will only boost our hopes of securing a summer sale, with the 32-year-old likely to be one of several fringe men moved on.
