- Ciaran Clark is also closing in on a move away, with The Athletic revealing that he’s currently undergoing a medical at Sheffield United ahead of a season-long loan.
- Newcastle United have announced a ‘long-term commitment to safe standing’ at St James’ Park. Rail seating looks set to be installed in part of the away end, but any changes to the home end will have to wait until 2023, subject to a consultation process with Newcastle supporters – Full story here.
