Mike Ashley may have leaked what could be our third kit for the 2023/24 season, as Sports Direct have ben pictured selling a dark blue strip labelled as a ‘Newcastle third’ shirt.
The Magpies have already announced both our black and white home top and our controversial green away shirt, but we are yet reveal what the third kit will look like.
As you can see from the pictures below, this blue strip, a similar colour to the one we had last season, is on sale at Sports Direct but without any sponsor.
It’s not clear if this will be a matchday training top opposed to the actual third kit, but it will soon become clear as we wait for an official announcement from the club.
While it may be a training top, many have speculated that the third shirt will be a similar colour and we can expect to see something not too dissimilar released in the coming weeks.
Just to be clear, what’s “controversial” about our away shirt.
Not like it changes the sponsor to a gambling firm or promotes illegal activity. It’s a colour, with stripes.
