According to The Athletic, Newcastle youngster Garang Kuol is close to signing for Eredivise side FC Voldenham on loan after a disappointing six-month spell at Hearts.
Both the club and league are viewed as an ideal location for youth development, with summer signing Yankubah Minteh already at Feyenoord.
Kuol arrived on Tyneside in January, but with international duty and a loan spell in Scotland, he hasn’t had the time to really settle in the North East just yet.
The 18-year-old, who featured at the World Cup last year, has bags of potential and will hopefully be able to use this spell in the Netherlands to grow and develop both as a player and a person.
We will certainly be keeping our eyes on the Dutch league next year and hoping to see some positive signs from both of our exciting young talents.
Elsewhere, it’s though Watford remain in talks over loan move for left-back Jamal Lewis.
