A round up of all of today’s news & transfer gossip:

  • Rafa Benitez has admitted that he could see himself staying at Newcastle United for ‘five to 10 years’ – but only if he is given the right backing by Mike Ashley  – See his comments in full HERE after ‘face to face’ meeting with the NUFC owner.
  • With us STILL waiting to hear official confirmation of Kenedy’s signing, the Brazilian has put us at ease with his latest post on social media – sharing footage of him by the Tyne Bridge on his Instagram ahead of his imminent return to NUFC – See it here.
  • According to the Chronicle, Rafa Benitez is still hoping to do ‘significant business’ once Kenedy’s arrival is confirmed, with the Spaniard keen to sign up to SIX more players in the final month of the window – Full story here.
